Task

Development and execution of a cross-media campaign for marketing Qatar Airways’ new destination Rangoon, which was to be offered for the first time from and via Frankfurt on Main Airport. The campaign was centered around a microsite, for which print and online banners, as well as an online raffle and dealer communication generated traffic. We created a mailing using the Burmese lucky number of 108 to address travel operators as well as to come up with 108 reasons speaking for Rangoon on a 1.08-meter-long scroll of gold printed Asia paper (standing for Myanmar as the ‘Land of the Golden Pagodas’). The campaign showed impressive results.
